Molecular Devices SpectraMax 340PC384 Microplate Reader

The Molecular Devices SpectraMax 340PC384 Microplate Reader can run both standard spectrophotometer and microplate reader applications on the same instrument. This tunable visible absorbance reader is for 96- and 384-well microplates and acquires data in endpoint, kinetic, and spectral scan modes using wavelengths from 340-850 nm, tunable in 1 nm increments. The SpectraMax 340PC384 features correction for varying microplate well volumes and the elimination of standard curves based on PathCheck Technology, the only temperature-independent pathlength correction method. For more sample throughput, the system can be easily integrated into a full robotic system and easily adapts to fit sample processing requirements.

The SpectraMax 340PC384 Microplate reader supports various absorbance assay categories, such as protein quantitation, endotoxin detection, microbial growth, ELISAs and immunoassays, reporter gene assays, phosphotases/kinases, enzyme assays, and cell viability, proliferation, and cytotoxicity.
