The Lab Equipment Repair Technician position will entail inspecting, evaluating, troubleshooting and testing laboratory equipment, both incoming and outgoing from our facility. This position has opportunity for growth within our fast expanding company.

Job Requirements
  • In-depth operation and testing of various type of Lab Equipment.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment.
  • Conducting inspections of incoming new equipment: testing, diagnostic reporting, repairing (if needed) and photo documenting for inventory and listing purposes.
  • Installing and troubleshooting equipment software.
  • Working and coordinating with external laboratory equipment technicians.
  • Troubleshooting technical problems with customers and potential clients.
Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of biotech laboratory equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills (preferably skilled in Windows)
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of biotech laboratory equipment, a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Warehouse Assistant

The shipping and warehouse assistant to work in our logistics department, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipment activities. We will train the right candidate on the packing and shipping process, along with other aspects of warehouse upkeep including minor machine repairs and testing. This position has opportunity for growth within our fast expanding company.

Job Requirements
  • Experience/familiarity with power tools
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
  • Prior warehouse or shipping experience (preferred)
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work well with a team

The Equipment Refinishing Specialist position will entail cosmetic restoration, painting, prepping, sanding and other refurbishment responsibilities in coordination with the technical and logistics team. This stable position has opportunity for growth within our fast expanding company.

Job Requirements
  • Visual inspection and assessment of external cosmetic condition.
  • Participate in and contribute to developing a proper refurbishment plan for each piece of equipment.
  • Refurbish equipment to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Cosmetic refurbishment preparation of equipment (includes cleaning, sanding, filling, prepping, etc.).
  • Masking machine parts, labels, trim work, etc.
  • Equipment painting (Includes applying primer, mixing, and color matching paint).
  • Applying finished coats of paint and sealers.
  • Disassembling and reassembling of different types of lab equipment (mechanical and electrical training included).
Skills and Abilities
  • Experience working on electronics or electrical/mechanical machines.
  • Must be familiar with machine tools (basic shop tools, power tools, compressors, paint guns, etc.).
  • Must be familiar with painting procedures/techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous work experience in an auto body, industrial manufacturing, or mechanically related work environment **
