The VWR Gravity Convection Incubator, Cat. #: 89511-422 features a unique airflow design providing the best conditions for delicate samples. This incubator is extremely versatile, offering a wide temperature range from Ambient +5°C to 75°C with a uniformity of ± 0.6°C at 37°C. A standard access port is also featured for monitoring and/or the use of electrical equipment inside of the unit. An internal glass door also allows viewing of samples without disruption. This Cat. #: 89511-422 model features a chamber volume of 6.85 cu. ft. (194L).

This gravity convection incubator features PID control that is easy to use, and has a large display for optimal feedback to the operator. The integrated timer function allows users to turn the incubator on and off at a desired time. An overtemperature alarm and a dual sensor safety concept are also integrated to provide peace of mind. For data monitoring, the unit can be connected via a standard RS-232 interface to a computer. Cleaning is also simple due to the stainless steel interior with smooth, rounded corners. Besides incubation in microbiology, bacterial and yeast research, the VWR Gravity Convection Incubators are used in food/beverage/pharmaceutical testing, for heated storage, and more.
