This easy control, extremely reliable motor provides a vibration free, quiet operation, even at high speeds. Its preset speed is reached in seconds, but the user also has the option to spin samples for only a few seconds with the "quick run" key. As long as the "quick run" key is pressed, the rotor is accelerating with maximum power. It weighs 28 kg (62lbs), has a maximum speed of 13,300 rpm, and has a temperature range from -9°C to +40C°.
