Labnet D0400 AccuPlate Hotplate
The Labnet D0400 AccuPlate Hotplate stands out with its advanced features and safety measures, making it an ideal choice for a variety of laboratory settings. This hotplate offers a broad temperature range from 5°C to 550°C with an accuracy of ± 2°C. The 5 x 7 inch platform is made of Pyroceram ceramic which is renowned for its durability, ease of cleaning, and resistance to chemical attacks. Unlike metal-topped units, this ceramic material can achieve higher temperatures and aids in observing color changes in experiments like titrations, thanks to its white color.
For temperature control, the AccuPlate integrates a powerful heating element beneath the ceramic plate, ensuring efficient heat transfer to the sample while keeping the electronics and housing minimally affected. Users can easily set the temperature using a large control knob and an easy-to-read LED display. Safety is a paramount feature of the AccuPlate, as it features a bright red “Hot Top” indicator warning users when the surface is too hot to touch. Additionally, it employs error codes to identify abnormal conditions, and in case of improper operation, such as insufficient ventilation, the device will automatically shut down. A thermal fuse is also incorporated to prevent overheating, enhancing the overall safety and reliability of the hotplate.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition and fully tested before shipping.
