The GE ÄKTA FPLC Explorer 100 System is a versatile and powerful solution for protein purification. This system features a UV-900 Detector with a wavelength range of 190-700 nm, offering simultaneous detection at three wavelengths with 4 nm bandwidth, and a flow cell capable of handling up to 100 ml/min with a maximum pressure of 2 MPa. The P-900 Pump ensures accurate and reproducible flow rates ranging from 0.01 to 100 ml/min in both isocratic and gradient modes. The M-925 Mixer, with six interchangeable mixing chambers, accommodates flow rates from 0.001 to 100 ml/min and can handle pressures up to 35 MPa, depending on the chamber. The Frac-950 Fraction Collector offers a wide range of fraction sizes and flow rates, with a pH stability range of 1 to 13. This GE AKTA Explorer 100 FPLC System is in excellent condition and has passed all tests for full functionality. These tests included: linking the unit to the Unicorn 5.31 operating system, testing flow rate accuracy of P-900 Pump, testing operation of pressure sensor in P-900 and P-950, leak-testing P-900 and P-950, testing UV-900 Monitor with Nal test solution, testing pH/C-900 for functional communication with pH probe and Conductivity Cell, testing functionality of the 925 Sensor, testing motor valves, and testing the Frac-950 for functionality through manual commands.

Configured setup for detection is UV Absorbance, pH, and Conductivity. Fraction collection is through the Frac-950.
