The Biotage TurboVap 96 Evaporator w/ Manifolds is a microprocessor-controlled concentration workstation designed for fast, efficient, and unattended evaporation of multiple samples. Capable of processing one or two 96-well microplates simultaneously, the system supports high-throughput workflows while reducing manual intervention. Its intuitive interface allows users to easily set and monitor time and temperature parameters.
The system utilizes patented gas vortex shearing technology to achieve rapid evaporation under mild thermal conditions. When the cover is closed, gas nozzles align with each well, creating a helical flow that promotes consistent evaporation across all samples. Combined with directed heated airflow beneath the plates, this design enhances evaporation efficiency while maintaining sample integrity.
