The Biorad CFX96 Touch Real-Time PCR System w/ CFX Maestro Software exemplifies cutting-edge technology in PCR detection, offering powerful, precise, and flexible options for both singleplex and multiplex reactions. This advanced system features a six-channel detection configuration (five colors and one FRET channel), allowing for the sensitive and reliable detection of nucleic acids across a variety of assays. An integrated LCD touchscreen streamlines the setup and monitoring of experiments directly on the device, while the sophisticated CFX Maestro Software provides robust tools for designing experiments and analyzing data from a connected computer.
Exceptionally versatile, the CFX96 Touch supports up to five-target detection with unmatched thermal cycler performance, which can function in a stand-alone mode, independent of a computer. This feature is complemented by the ability to monitor amplification data in real-time on the device and export results conveniently via USB or direct email using the integrated C1000 Touch Chassis. Precision in temperature control is critical for successful PCR outcomes, and the CFX96 Touch meets this requirement with six independently controlled thermal electric modules that maintain stringent temperature uniformity across all sample wells throughout each step of the PCR process, even during ramping phases.
The optical system of the CFX96 distinguishes itself with solid-state technology that individually illuminates and detects fluorescence in each well with high sensitivity and without cross-talk, ensuring precise quantification and target discrimination. It is equipped with tailored optical filter sets that enhance fluorescence detection for specific dyes, maximizing the efficiency of up to five-target multiplexing per well. Moreover, the system's flexible data acquisition modes cater to various fluorescent dyes and protocols, including SYBR® Green I, EvaGreen®, and FRET, thereby broadening experimental possibilities.
Designed to accommodate a wide range of sample volumes from 1 to 50 uL, and optimized for 10 to 25 uL, the CFX96 Touch features a robust temperature range and precision, with a well-to-well uniformity of ± 0.4°C and an accuracy of ± 0.2°C at 90°C. The system's gradient feature allows for the optimization of reactions in a single run, spanning a programmable temperature range from 30°C to 100°C. With fast scan times and a dynamic range spanning ten orders of magnitude, the Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch Real-Time PCR System is an indispensable tool for laboratories engaged in genetic analysis, ensuring high-throughput, efficiency, and reliability in real-time PCR processing.
The CFX Maestro Software is a user-friendly and comprehensive suite designed for the collection, analysis, and visualization of real-time PCR data from CFX series real-time PCR systems. It streamlines plate setup, data acquisition, statistical analysis, and graphical representation, offering tools such as t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and high-resolution plotting. Users can view data in multiple formats, including bar charts, box-and-whisker plots, clustergrams, and volcano plots, with customizable colors and annotations. The software supports complex experiment design with technical replicates and biological groups, features reference gene selection tools for gene stability analysis, and enables multi-plate study analysis. Integrated with PrimePCR Assays, it allows easy import of plate maps and run conditions for seamless workflow integration. Please Note: We recommend performing a Dye Calibration for the Dye you plan on using for your application(s). Please refer to the Operator's Manual for instructions.
