The Agilent 1290 Infinity I HPLC G4212A DAD Detector features a Max-Light cartridge flow cell design that improves light transmission and reduces dispersion effects, contributing to more reliable peak integration with reduced baseline noise, drift, and thermal influence. A programmable micro-slit system allows slit widths from 1 to 8 nm to be set directly as a method parameter, enabling optimization of sensitivity, linearity, and spectral resolution for different analytical requirements. Multiple wavelength and full spectral detection operate at high sampling rates to keep pace with rapid separations.
Designed for ease of use and maintenance, the detector incorporates RFID tracking for both the UV lamp and flow cells to support traceability and instrument monitoring. Improved electronic temperature control enhances baseline stability under fluctuating ambient conditions, while additional diagnostic signals monitor temperature and lamp voltage.
